Leaflet leathery, usually 3, thin 5; leaflets oval-ovate, obovate, or lanceolate-ovate, sharply serrated at the edges, bright green above, glabrous, yellowish-green below; stipules free or base connate with petiole, cape Needle-shaped with fine teeth on the edges. Flowers solitary in leaf axils, 5-7 cm in diameter; petals white, broad obovate, apex slightly concave; fruit pear-shaped, obovate, sparsely spherical, purple-brown, densely bristle outside. Flowering from April to June, fruiting from July to November.
